who sels the best radiators for best cooling?

Hi folks
I need a new radiator and need a good one with the best cooling I can get as I have a 2.2 scooby engine in my bus ive just done the head gaskets and dont want them to blow any time soon does any one do an alloy one or an uprated one to give me the best cooling I can have any advise is welcome

the standard 1.6 turbo radiator is well up to the job of cooling as i have used it on alot bigger and more powerfull engines

Thanks for the reply faggie who sells the turbo one then ?
Ive seen some rads on ebay and brickworks but dont know which one is the best to go for
Has any one had experience of these rads that could recommend one to me

check yours , you may have the thicker one already.

make sure you also fit the td or 1.7d rad fan/ wiring vw made them more powerfull for a reason

see the pattern with the d/td vans?

also make sure the card inserts are good around the rad

Personally I'd only trust genuine VW or Valeo from your local motor factor. Anyone suggest any other good rad manufacturers ? E D I T: That Hella Behr one might be OK, at least its not branded Meyle, which are total cack IME.

You can always take yours out and get it recored to suit or get a custom unit made for around the £500 mark from alloy. A recore is about £130 (I believe). I looked into it for my VR6 but haven't done anything about it yet.
