Reverse light

Post by markhale10 »

Hi.
My MOT is tomorrow and having spent a fair bit of time and money on the van over the summer, I thought it was ready. I checked all lights etc last month and decided to do final check tonight. I hate to fail on silly things.

Anyway, turns out the reverse lights now don't work. I shorted wires together at switch by gearbox and they work. I tried pushing in switch whilst connected and nothing so I now know the switch has gone.
Is there any bodegas I can do to get through MOT until new switch arrives?

I won't order from BW tonight in case I need anything else after tomorrow.

Thanks,
Mark

Good point. I just Googled it and confirmed what you said. I was never aware of this before.
Fingers crossed for the rest of it to pass.
Thank you.
