Rubber bushes.

Post by Trunkster »

Hi guys. My steering is all over the place and no I have not been drinking and I am not a lady! (sorry ladies!) It has been pointed out to me that all my rubber bushes on the front suspension and steering are badly worn and need replacing. I have looked in the usual places but it is a bit of a mine field as I don’t really know what I need. I was told not to go for the cheaper brands as I would need to change them again in 12 months and the top range are very expensive. I will be taking the camper to my mates garage so I want to make sure I have all the bits before he starts. Could some one advise me on a suitable kit to get, a list of what I need and the best place to get them from. Thanx a lot!
If in doubt give it a clout!

Baxter does the radius arm bushes and spacer sleeve (which is always fooked) and also the upper wishbone bushes if you wanted to go the whole hog. Personally I found the biggest difference was the rack bushes ... I could feel our old ones flexing sideways in crosswinds, that stopped immediately with the polybushes.

Everything is in the kits as far as I remember.
