Hi
Why are the simplest things always the worst, in the middle of removing my engine (1.9 DG)at the mo to sort out a leaking water jacket seal + core plug, head bolt nuts are loosened, exhaust bolts loosened, the sun is out a cup of tea on the go what could go wrong. Not being able to pull out the damned oil filler tube out thats what , I was hoping to get the engine out today before winter returns tomorrow. My plan is to warm the filler tube up with a hot air gun in the morning to see if it can become more supple. If anyone else has got a better idea I will love to hear about it,
Cheers
Nick

Re: Oil filler tube
Undo the 2 M8 nuts where the tube joins the engine
You don't need that tube off to remove the engine ... just ensure the asre-end's high enough up.
