leisuredrive sliding window won't lock!
I appear to have a small problem with the sliding window on the green meany.
Basically, the latch that locks it closed is missing. I don't know how this has happened, but it has.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement lock from?
Hopefully these photos explain it better...

Yes, that last one is me sliding the window open from the outside!!

Just making life easier for folk

I used to have a Leisuredrive but I can't remember what the catch should look like, sorry
Perhaps E D I T the title of the thread to include the word 'Leisuredrive' to attract other current owners who can see it in the flesh on their vans?

Ahh. Unfortunately that's not the answer I was hoping for... but it is, however, the answer I was expecting!
Looks like it's a new liding window for me then!

I really meant that my leisuredrive window didn't have a catch and still doesn't. If someone wanst to get in they will regardless of whether a flimsy bit of plastic stops the sliding window from opening

You could always ask the people that built it in the first place

Doesn't look like our LeisureDrive window
I have a "box of bits" in my shed that I often turn to at times like this. I usually find summat in there that with a bit of hacksawing, filing and drilling can be made to do "a job"

What the heck is that on the seat, looks like body parts

Granted, but we're not getting very far on here are we?Cruz wrote:Good luck with that after 25 years plus

It looks similar (although not exact) to the one on my old camper which was converted in 1990 (1986 van). You can just make it out in these picturesghost123uk wrote:Doesn't look like our LeisureDrive window![]()

only pictures I have, didn't consider it note worthy at the time
