oil pump cover bolts

hello,
have stripped engine out and done a full cllean and overhaul. i have a slight problem though.
i bouhght 4 new oil pump cover nuts and gaskets. am ready to fir cover sealing the pump in and am unsure which way tha nuts go. they are dome shaped with an orange seal at this end. does the dome seal end go on first, or the flat part of the nut so the dome is awat from the lid. the bolts are the same as nyloks but with an orange seal instead of blue.any hints will be useful.
