Respray recommendations

Post by mrsbatmangb »

Hello all

We desperately need to get our 1990 T25 reprayed. It had a rather botched job a while back, which bubbled and cracked and is now at risk of causing rust. We need to get it sorted before it causes any further damage to the van itself.

We had a garage lined up to do it next month but they've since gone very quiet which is making me nervous, so we are starting from scratch trying to find someone else to do the job.

Can anyone recommend anywhere in South London, or Kent, or anywhere generally south! We are happy to travel a little for the right place.

Many thanks

Sophie

no disrespect sophie, but be prepared to travel the length of the country for good works be it mechanical or body,
can you post any picks up, and as for bubbling and rust ,err the rust will already be there with a vengance so dont be overly concerened about time so to speak

Everything mike has said is right, if its bubbling its rusty and if it was a botched job its probably rusty and needs repairs.

You could try Gary at 'Autocrash' in Croydon, good workmanship and reasonable price he does alot of t25 work so knows how they are put together. if you would like to see my van you are welcome to come along and take a look. I had mine done 3 years ago ( new front panel plus spray up to the high top) sorry don't have number to hand but you can google it HTH
