How would you change the glowplug if need be.Once the dash is back on.?

That's just the kind of inspiration I was after drytooler! Presumably you remove it by unbolting it from the headlight side, and then change the glowplug once it's out?
How often does a glowplug need to be changed on these things anyway (I reckon use of mine'll be pretty infrequent)?

Is it easy to connect to the blower system? I love the idea of it just coming out of the existing dash vents.

Any other down sides to installing this way (does it reduce effectiveness of normal blowers for example?)?

That looks like another option Rob - interesting. Thanks for the pic. Were the mounting brackets(?) easy enough to make up? And where is the fuel pump (doesn't it have to be fitted at a lower level than the heater? Also what model is it (normal sized or compact?)

Mounting brackets? I just drilled two holes for the inlet/exhaust pipes and two for the mounting bolts.It's a D1Lc.The pump is just above the fuel tank.This is sat in the spare wheel.So its well below the unit.
