Part number help please!

Post by ELVIS »

Any of you clever chaps/chapettes with ETKA etc ?

After part number of Upper/Outer plastic adjuster/screw for square headlight assembly. As you look at a van its the top one closest to the wing mirror/door/van side :ok

and still available from vw for about 70p, they are the same on all the adjusters so as long as the part that fixes to the frame is ok you can fix them still
I have a few in stock
send me my invoice for the arb stuff and I'll send you your etka/etos discs :ok

:oops:

Sorry chap, forgot. Will address it ASAP.

Cheers rob and Aiden. Yep 8a. Need both plastic bits, bit on frame and bit on other end that goes into headlight.

I'm sure Elvis is not referring to the little plastic clips that fit on the ball head of the adjuster screws (which are available from VW in bags of 10). He is talking about adjuster number 10

10) 255-941-141C

Obsolete from VW but available from Brickwerks

http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/shop?page=s ... gory_id=51" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

:ok

Rectangular headlight
Top innner 255-941-133 http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/shop?page=s ... gory_id=51" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Top Outer 255-941-141C http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/shop?page=s ... ct_id=1320" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Bottom Inner 191-941-297 http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/shop?page=s ... gory_id=51" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Square Main Beam
Bottom Adjuster 255-941-133A OBSOLETE EVERYWHERE
Top Adjuster (2 needed per lamp) 255-941-141B OBSOLETE EVERYWHERE

But I found a workable solution using Golf Mk2 adjuster as shown here https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=81989" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If I was you Elvis I would do what I did and get a full set for each headlight and both inner main beams (including the alternatives I found for the main beams)

Might cost about £30 but it means you are future proof :ok
