Hi,
Ive just gone to move my van after months standing idle and it won't go in gear when the engines running, I just get a nasty crunch. The slave cylinder is pushing the arm down but the clutch won't release. Is there an easy way to free it off.

clutch down
in gear
crank it.
or rock it in gear clutch down engine off
otherwise gearbox out
then you have to keep using the van!

Or has the spigot bearing seized ? Will it go in gear with the engine switched off ?

Thanks for the reply, freed it off by cranking the engine with the clutch depressed and in gear.
