Window Tints - Photos Please

Post by Thorgills »

Thinking through the idea of getting windows tinted. Any pics appreciated, including % tint and rough cost would be great!

I haven't a clue about the light % or cost as they where done when I bought it. the windscreen was done but was border line mot failure so I changed the windscreen for a correct vw tint one, og was chipped in a couple of places and its a better place without the screen heavily tinted, great for peeping.

Cheers Mark, nice pic! They look a little darker than I'm after, but hard to tell without seeing first hand I guess!?!?

I've decided to replace the glass with proper tinted glass rather than a film, if you're gonna do a job..... plus I spend £1/4M a year on glass so I'm sure one of my suppliers must owe me a favour!!

Here's mine. One year ago, freshly painted and freshly tinted.

50% american film on factory light tinted glass. Not too dark, but not too bright. This was done not in Britain so cost is irrelevant (50 quid. the lot).
