Amazing what one will do if bored enough.

Here is a pic of the same location as pic 5 above ^^^, at a different angle and time of year, off Google Street View  , (it took me quite a while to find it  - and why did I , I don't know... )

Image

I think I might go to the pub for a while (until the spring arrives ;) )

Thanks all for the compliments. It's nice to get good feedback, gives you a real lift as a photographer, much appreciated. :ok

And yes, Syncros with AT's are amazing snow, no problems what so ever, at all, in anyway! I was powering through 2ft drifts then onto packed ice and powder with excellent control, in fact I had to hammer the breaks or really floor it to get any kind of drift on.

I am based in South Molton, for now anyway, so Exmoor is just over the road. Literally. We are know as The Gateway to Exmoor in fact.

Unfortunately we have the outlaws to stay this weekend or I'd say I'd be up for a drive dirty-syncro-lover.

Have fun out and about this weekend folks. I look forward to seeing some more 25 syncro snow action.

Can I join in? We got out the other weekend, keepin' it real, syncro style :D

Image

We went sledging up at Newland's Corner, Dorking. Brewed up some cocoa in the back at half-time, I could almost feel the envy

Yep the AT's are really amazing in anything but slick ice, but I suppose anything short of studded tyres will come unstuck then.

PS I should add:
:ok Really crisp, sharp pics and nicely composed. Beautiful light to work with, we only got slate grey gloom over here. My SLR kit has languished in a box for 15+ years, along with my back-catalogue of slides and negs. Might get back to it one day but I sold my 24mm lens recently so maybe it's time to move on...
