so i was going to get my foam recovered but decided to go the whole hog and get new foam as well

here is the out come

funky retro thats spot on to what i wanted so least i no it worked lol

got local buisness to recover (2 min down road)

foam was £175 but thats for 5 inch and stock net covered and cut
Material was £90 for 10 meters so plenty left over for buddy seat
and Less than 100 to recover the three foams and bolster pellows

may seem alot to some but my theory was how much did you spend on you bed in you bedroom?

I mentioned this some time ago but we are fortunately in an era where gender (for most things) has little to bear on jobs around the house and in the camper and that includes sewing! I picked up (free) a fantastic sewing machine made by Hillman (yes THE car manufacturer) that will sew the thickest leather and I'm about to redo the covers throughout my interior and door cards. New machines all seem to be made of plastic and not really up to much but earlier ones (especially the Brit-made ones) are really well made, often quite cheap and you just don't need half a million stitch types.

I can't do a great deal during the Winter so it seems a great time to have a go at revamping all the cloth in readiness for the Summer. Basically, for seats, you just need to remove the existing ones, unpick them and use them as a pattern for the new ones. With the bed, theres plenty on YouTube to show you how to measure and calculate the actual dimensions you'll need to make well fitting covers. You can do it the cheap way and staple from underneath but then removal/washing the covers isn't possible and they tend to look messy around the corners. It'll be a while but I'll take photos as I go in case its any help to anyone else.

we did the curtain ourselfs to must delight

but for the sake of £95 and less than a week to complete the job, and keeping local man in buisness is money well spent in my eyes

dont get me wrong im the tightest bloke around and hate spending money just ask my missis

i recycle every thing and keep alot more lol

i love the seats now to redo the interior but only when i ind the wood in a skip lol
