Rear box oil change. After judicious use of the English language and a variety of wobble extensions managed to get the drain plug out.

Does this look OK?

Anyway, new GL4 in and its drivable again, ready for MOT, refit of prop shaft and some winter camping.
After that will drain again and change the leaking box nose seal and then work on getting the protection bars straightened and refitted ready for spring trips.

Stalky bits brass colour they were, which probably isnt good news.
I don't have a heavy throttle foot nor an overly powerful engine, however my gear change can be a bit rough occasionally, especially in the cold mornings when my double de-clutch function isnt switched on fully.

Any tips for re-inserting prop shaft, or is it as easy as aligning with location marks and spannering up?

Don't mention the "marking of propshaft"!!

I did on here some time ago and was severely chastised (no name mentioned) :rofl :rofl

Were there any nasty bits in the drain tray? (non magnetic bronzey bits)??
