Okay new van, 4 speed, nice tight change, not sloppy, no funny noises. Just hard to get into 1st (2nd not too bad). Like it needs to go other further left.
Am I right in thinking I need to (looking from the under the back of van) twist the front section slightly to the right (clockwise)?
Difficult getting 1st & 2nd on 4 speed.

I sort of think of it as lieing under your new pride and joy and rotating the rear rod anticlock as you face fwd ,obviouse mark the fore and aft first,

Chick that the nut where the actual rod connects to the gearbox is tight. can make a world of difference and takes less than 5 minutes to check.
