Temperature gauge not working & Instrument panel lights

Post by craigy8 »

All

Wondered if you could help

I have a water cooled T25 Diesel yeaaaaaaaaa

Problem I have is for no reason the gauge has stopped working. I took the lead from the relay unit that goes into water tank and the tempeature gauge in the cab naturally starts to flash and goes to the top reading then you put it back on and nothing. So I was advised that it is the relay unit that was faulty "bought a replacement engine gets warm and still no reading"

Any ideas guys? :(

Also one of my bulbs has stopped working. I naturaly purchased another one and placed it into the sockett with no luck? I then took one of the bulbs that wasnt working and put it in the socket where the other one had failed. Again no luck. But the crazy thing here is that I put the new bulb in the sockett where the bulbs are working fine and I had no joy. Hope that makes sense.

Hi take a look at angelo EVS post here
https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.p ... nt+warning" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and this one in the wiki
https://club8090.co.uk/wiki/Co ... ht_on_dash" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and your second problem with the bulb (I take it you mean like a head light bulb?) may be related ie poor earth connection on the "crowns of earths" above the fuse box being corroded.
