sliding door glass

before i go chopping a hole in my van sliding door to fit a window,how do i work out size of hole.any advice would be appreciated .

Heathen !! shame to ruin a panal door, they are often worth more than a conversion one as well,swop?
other than that do I assume you already have your window?

hi mm i do have glass,been looking for a sliding door with glass but they are pretty expensive,would rather buy one done,plus mine needs inner bottom of door repairing as well.not gonna rush into it though wont be using van till end of jan.
