Re: tdi doka build.
I looked for some stuff recently, it seems to either be the KEP adapter plate or the Brazilian Bay bellhousing. Eurospec sell a 'kit' that inc the bellhousing, engine bars, hydraulic mounts, flywheel, clutch ect

Re: tdi doka build.
Mexican bellhousing and associated parts are alot more money than KEP stuff.

His conversions look nice, I think he uses the mex bellhousing and later tdi's. Shame there is no-one in the uk doing a similar thing

Re: tdi doka build.
Spent ages planning a 20-degree install into my pickup about 18 months ago but got impatient to get the job done and went 55-degree instead.
I rejected both the Eurospec and Kennedy solutions, they're based on petrol bellhousings and use custom flywheel and clutch parts. I wanted to use stock TD as far as possible. IMO the best way to do this is as others have already done, eg. adapter plate and TD bell with the end milled down to bring the starter back into engagement with the flywheel.
I've got some pretty accurate CAD drawings but never got as far as having the CNC work done.

Re: tdi doka build.
Just dug out my CAD drawings, here's an example, not sure its the final version but you get the idea. It can easily be tweaked as needed. This one was for a Passat motor which had a metal bracket bolted under the block, hence the extra holes.

Re: tdi doka build.
I've got the td bellhousing milled down ready from the 5 pot conversion so really only need the adaptor plate. Don't want to go to the time and effort to draw one up if someone has already done the hard work.
Don't fancy petrol bell housing due to starter placement but I'm concerned the td starter placement with a vert' install may have access issues.

10 year old info but everything you need to know afaics. Includes dimensions for solid and DMF. 4 sheets of CAD, one for each block/flywheel variant.
Note that the engine is designed around a 20 degree installation angle.
