Digital clock - easy to replace?

Digital clock - easy to replace?
I know it's a trivial thing, but my little digital clock is not working - it looks like it's got cataracts. I'm guessing you just replace them - is this difficult?

Fiddly curcuit board connection. I think it's easier to get a similar one off ebay thats not going to blind you at night and wire it straight to the 12V supply. bit of a hack job behind the dash unit which may affect other things if your not careful
