Okay guys I have a reversing camera
I need to connect both camera and screen
The camera is no probs as it connects to the reversing light, but the screen which is linked wirelessly to the camera will be mounted up front.
I want the screen only to come on when reverse is engaged.
Is there anywhere up front I can do this??

Re: Backward
I have no idea what kit you have and it's wiring but the ones I have fitted automatically change from stereo/entertainment function display to rear camera view as the vehicle is put into reverse. In other words; the reverse camera signal overides normal screen input to the display.
However, Cars/vans with modern CANbus electrics cannot be wired to the reverse light feed otherwise the CANbus interferes with the camera's signal.

Re: Backward
Hi it's a separate screen not part of the radio.
The installation instructions show both the camera and screen connected to the reversing light, so I guess I will need to get on a ramp and wire from back to front.
This.kinda negates the wirless link for signal I guess.

Re: Backward
You could wire direct to the reverse light switch on the gearbox - that'll save you a few feet of wire at least!
Or maybe just wire up a little switch on the dash and operate it manually - that way you can fire up the camera when you are driving forwards too!!
