Off road trailer
Now that my time is spent looking at T4 Syncro forum,
which is not all that busy,
I look around at the rest of the T4 Forum for interesting tidbits,
and thought to post one home to my old mates here.
This is not going to cut it on the rough stuff behind a rufty tufty T25 Syncro,
but it is very inspiring and Syncros will get it where it needs to go,
and back again..
So do enjoy, and I for one am inspired to create something similar:
http://vimeo.com/sealandercaravan/trailer" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I wouldn't be thinking of taking that to sea around your area!

True, a bit of death trap at the first wave I think..
The roof box, at least yet get what it says on the box...

Re: Off road trailer
About 30 years ago my friend built a boat that fitted the roof of his London Cab exactly,
It served as a pop top, hinging up clamshell like to sleep under,
and also came off altogether to function as a boat.
As far as I know its still in use..
I have often wondered if there is a nice alloy boat that just happens to fit,
Use it as an occasional high top or roof box,
and have some kind of hatch access from inside the van.
Viking roof? Does what it says on the box?

Good for the floods though.
Doubt it likes winds much, needs a rethink.
I imagine it as a sneaky houseboat on bigger wheels,
able to "park up" in very tranquil and beautiful places well off the beaten track.
Also I cant see why it couldnt be a bit more normal boat like, having a trailer under that it floats off from.
Looks like that hull would get wrecked most of the places I would like to launch it,
even if you could get it to that point without holing it.

as on Dragon's Den(theo liked it!)
The price isn't too bad either when compared to some roof boxes.

Re: Off road trailer
Well, this isn't a boating caravan, but I think it fits much more to a Syncro.

£37,787 and £27,363 top-of-range and base models respectively
I suppose all you'd have to do is change your towing vehicle and keep the trailer, then you wouldn't have to worry about losing your campability.
A Caravelle or Doka to tow, would it matter wherever you went
