Greetings
Was wondering if there was much/any difference in between standard van and german army vans ?.
I have a 91 doka 1.7d. ex radio van, and heard something about the springs maybe being a bit sturdier than standard.
Does anyone know if this is the case and if there would be any other non standard bits and bobs besides the little clips around the windows for the covers and the ariel mount on the side.
Just curious.

Take a look on the option code sticker. I have a 1987 ex-bundeswehr and the is located on the drivers side near where the bottom of the dash meets the pillar. Im just new to T3 ownership and I cannot decipher all the codes, however I have found from some of the codes that it was produced fro the bundeswehr ( obviously 
) fitted with twin alternators and came with paint code ral 6031 which is NATO olive. Happy Driving
