Post by elevensies »

I just bought a portable tv, and supplied was the usual garbage aerial and a bit better one.

Both are rubbish, complete and utter waste of time, so what des one recommend please, I can't have a permenant one on the van roof, it's a pop top and would look silly,

Any help please

There are amplified ones which require power.
There are sticks that near to the transmitter are as good as an expensive one
or there are directional ones

I use a directional one from maplin (This is about 18" long it clips to the rollout awning)

It works without power and I always get a picture and always a ton of channels

and when I am near an antenna I use this little 12" magnetic one..

and it's as good as the other in the right place
