Vegetation

Post by NeilHarris »

Moss and mould generally showing itself around window seals front grills etc. Unfortuently I cannot get the van out of the weather at this time of year. Can anyone advise anything that has a mild bleach like you use for the bathroom, that is safe to use around the paint and trim of my van. I guess if its really bad then changing the strips around the front windows and other areas is best- but if anyone has used anything to keep it at bay for a bit, it would be useful to know.

(also, I cannot see where to put up a 'signature' probably me just being a knob, but any help appreciated !)

thanks

jeyes fluid is one of the best, but before putting it on any paintwork your best testing it on a small area or something else thats painted to make sure it dosent discolour.

As mentioned Jeyes fluid and Armillatox will kill moss- i use Algon at work for moss on flags/tarmac/paths etc, but it can also be used on plastics [chairs, outdoor furniture], wood [decking], greenhouses and caravans.

Thanks very much for the replies. I'll try them all in various locations to see which is the best method.
