if you wire it from the leisure battery without this relay it will flattern the battery in a hour or so whith the engine not running.
I have a slight variation to this, I run my fridge from the LB but it has a relay so that it only receives power when the engine is running.
The reason it should be off the main battery is so the leisure battery has a better chance of charging and the fridge gets its power direct from the main battery not via the leisure battery.
Power goes from alternator to main battery, and then equally to leisure and fridge, as opposed to main battery, to leisure battery then to fridge.
Therefore if you start the engine with a half flat leisure battery and the fridge switched on the leisure battery all of a suddenly tries to draw twice as many amps from the split charger, often blowing the fuses and sometimes worse.

They had an Ultra Plus 12V25 low height 80ah leisure battery for £59.99 inc Vat and delivery. The dimensions are 275 x 175 x 175 high so is ideal. I asked if there was a discount for club members and he charged me £58. I ordered it at 9.15am and it arrived at 1.02pm the next day. Brilliant!
