Well I clearly am! If you fit those hid without the correct lens (which any year of T25 dont have) it is ILLEGAL! not rocket science really is it!

Oh this might explain it!

After spending last winter riding a motorbike to & from work in the dark I think HID lights should be banned. If a biker has got a rain splattered visor a HID lit vehicle coming the other way effectively blinds them. The only thing HID lights achieve is letting the driver of a car or van fitted with them drive faster than they should in the conditions. Tozzers!

Having come off my motorbike on a bend many years ago due to someone's headlights being like that I think that any fool that deliberately makes his lights illegal should be castrated or worse. Luckily I got away with only a broken collarbone on that occasion - someone else might not be so lucky.

Leebo.....Owning and running a T3 can be an expensive game, learning how to do things for yourself is both rewarding and money saving. Contrary to what you might be thinking right now, we are not boring old farts with old fashioned set in our way views.
Many of us do modify, change and enhance our vehicles but you have to realise, with this comes responsibility. When you carry out a mod as described, it isn't just YOU that is being effected, others may infact be put in danger by your....sorry for saying this...recklessness.
If you want to see just how well STANDARD T3 headlamps CAN be, then come and have a look at my setup. Completely rewired with relays, all fused and designed with redundancy (seperate circuits for dip & full beam) using Nighbreaker bulbs my whole setup is totally legal and works very well indeed.
Please don't get the hump, believe it or not, we do have your best interests at heart..
