Subaru engine mounts.

Post by bradders89 »

Im running a ej20 subaru and theres alot of slop in the drive train somewhere. I can rock the engine more than seems to be normal so thinking the prob lies in the engine mounts. I thort it was the gearbox mount so changed it for a pollybush one and the prob is still there. Im worryed that it could also be the diff in the gearbox to. As the engine mounts seem to be hard to find and bloody expensive could i make a temp repair and see if it cures the prob?

Have a look at them whilst rocking the engine, mine are the original 1992 factory ones and never had an issue with um, but can get um second hand for about £26 on ebay a pair
