The pump's definitely running, just "virtually silent"? You've bypassed the wiring and fed it with +12v and earth manually?

The washer jets are working perfectly again. The jets have been replaced twice as part of bodywork repairs in the past year. Both times they refused to work for about two weeks. They are now working normally again. I put it down to a dodgy non-return valve in the pump.

When mine stopped working it was dodgy contacts on the wiper stalk, a clean up and some switch cleaner solved the problem.
