<shrug> Your call. Personally, we didn't when we bought our van. But we don't drink the water out of the tank - only use it for cooking/boiling. For "raw" drinking, or toothbrushing, we use bottled.

To be honest we didn't bother with that and we do drink the water. I did however run it dry and rinsed it out a few times with a gallon or so of fresh. But we are of the "a little bit of muck is good for you" brigade :wink: Still alive :wink:
