Painting fabric?

Post by MattBW »

Anyone have any experience of painting fabric? I understand you can get special paint to do it, but didnt know how effective it is?
Thinking of doing the rock n roll bed cushions until I can afford to get them recovered.

Cheers,

Matt.

You early need to look here

Now although this talented person paints tents, it might give you an idea of what is possible, but it does depend on the fabric you wish to paint. Would it be simpler perhaps to simply dye it? Or just get some fabric, or cheap fleece blankets and make simple covers? Could also look in charity shops for old curtains/bedding to use as fabric?
Just some ideas :ok
