Calliper bracket bolt tourque?

Post by max and caddy »

I don't have a Bentley....can anyone confirm the torque for the 22 mm calliper bolts please...could be 160 nm as a 2wd but then 200 ft pounds has been suggested well..

Thanks in advance

Bentley 39.46

brake caliper to housing 240Nm 177ft lb

Bentley 40.15

shown in diagram as 250Nm 185 ft lb

both the above are are in Syncro specific parts of the manual

weirdly the 2wd only shows the early caliper in the diagram at 160 Nm 115ft lb even though both early and late caliper variations are dealt with in the book so what you do on a 2wd with the late sliding calipers is a bit unclear

Simon will be a long shortly

basically equates to 18" bar pretty tight, not full fat "bar-steward" tight
