Started the day in the Syncro with a big smile on the way to work, by the time I got there I had this niggling tick tick tick in my ear. Swung under at lunchtime and could see both inner and outer CV boots on the front left side were coming apart. By the time I got home tonight I have a loud clack, clack clack on the bends and slow turns. There is a little movement on the inner if I give it a shake. I was jetwashing mud off yesterday which probably hasnt helped.
So as a Syncro Spanner Virgin I read syncropatricks recent CV thread and the Vancafe link he posted and assume I need to do the CV joints.
Checked on Brickwerks site and can see CV Joint kit - T3 rear [inc. syncro] which does 14" syncro, front inner but I couldnt see 14" syncro, front outer. Can someone point me to the right one please?
thanks
Les

Re: Clack, clack, clack
Now why could'nt I see that !!! Thanks Neil. Big difference in price between inner and outer, £47 and £145. Mmm, need to decide whether to order just boots etc or both joints complete, keen to get back on the road asap, I suppose if the old ones are serviceable at least I would have a spare to carry. My inner boot has perished, and looks dry, the outer has just lost its cable tie and still looks greasy. Its seemed to go quickly from no noise to loud clack, clack so I guess thats not a good sign. Any thoughts anyone?axeman wrote:here you go
