It was an awesome day out.
A big thanks to Steve Hooper and Andy Dird from Pinzgauerworld.com for not just allowing us to tag along but also for being so welcoming and friendly.
As Lee said we felt some what out gunned, but the little syncro boldly plodded on and went everywhere the pinz's went.
Felt the bash guards bumping and grinding more than on any other lane I've done! That was one of the major differences, ground clearance. Also found myself using both difflocks more than in the past.
GG At 2's had plenty of grip on the loose rocks as well as the shiny stuff.
We did Happy Valley, Bearded Lake and Bomber Lane. All beautiful, scenery amazing, but then again it is Gods country!
Bearded lake it definitely the hardest lane I've ever done. At one point the 4 wheel pinz in front of me slid sideways down a shiny rock surface, and into some heavy duty sticky stuff(Lee was inside it at the time). I decided to skirt the shiny rock as tight as poss with both diff locks on. It was up a pretty steep angle as well, but in G gear we just steadily got through. I think the pinz boys were quite impressed.
Will try and get a video up soon, but to be honest Lee and I were so blown away with the whole thing we didn't take as much footage as normal.
We have also broken in a new Syncro addict. Lee's 9 year old boy Keiron was on board with us, not sure who was the biggest kid on the day though. All faces were smiling like Cheshire cats!
Cheers Rich
