Re: Tyre size question...sorry!
Yep...remembering that, not looking to lift other than to correct the saggy old springs ideally, but do want to get 235.70.16s on if they will go...the reduction in revs will be welcomed on the motorway as well. I preferred the van on the 225.75.16s as when I put 215.70.16AT on it is noisier, and does less mpg...but at least they have some grip!

..lee.. wrote:You basically make a bracket that bolts through the original fixing with a shock mount and allows the shock to sit on a perch on top of the arm. Easy enough to do and is proven too.

Spose so...but would have two lots of rubber in the mix...I'm sticking with how SDP intended, hugomonkey wrote:..lee.. wrote:You basically make a bracket that bolts through the original fixing with a shock mount and allows the shock to sit on a perch on top of the arm. Easy enough to do and is proven too.you could just cannibalise an old set of front shocks to make the bracket

I don't have a shed, or a garage.
I have to disguise van parts as furniture.
Kitchen island anyone?

On a side note, I'm running 225/75/16 mt's on a standard 14" 2.1dj van. Everything is fine, apart from the odd steep hill and hitting bumps at speed.
