Anybody used this kit?
How difficult is it to install?
How come the rear only goes to 20mm max?
I've used body lifts on Suzuki sj's and vitaras so get the general idea but are there any downsides to this kit on a doka?

There is a full build thread on IG16 using this kit on the grey DoKa in the pics. The guy who did it reckons that a 30mm kit would be better. There is quite a bit of work to do like dropping the steering rack 20mm and then there is work needed in dropping the engine on the engine bars a similar amount. Then there is the need to lengthen the suspension arms at the rear and modify shocks. Its quite a bit of work.

Re: Syncro body lift kit
Hi, I think GMB is the german company who produces the body lift kit. Interesting website, also have a look at their diesel engine mounts, using the golf Mark 3 tdi hydromounts:

Have you got a link please?..found the site but not the thread.
Are the brackets in the kit relevant to the steering rack and engine lowering or will those bits require diy skills

There are no steering rack brackets in that kit. I cant see the rear engine bits but the front bits are just spacers to go between the front subframe and body shell. There are brackets to adapt to the hydro mounts though.
Cant find the link to the thread
