Last cable to connect then finished

Post by Petesara »

Bought a partly restored camper,
Hope someone can help! once I can find out where to connect just one more cable maybe the van will start, it has had a Subaru engine conversion and I have one cable to connect, red/black 4mm, connects to the ignition switch and it goes through towards the engine bay, have looked in the Haynes manual and can't see where to connect.
Any help appreciated
Pete
Have been told that it may go to the starter but the starter motor seems to have connections on it, the loom was modified by RJES.

Red black should be trigger wire to starter motor solenoid.
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.

Colin,
thank you for the reply, the Haynes manual seems to point to that but would not have expected a 4mm cable to be used and the loom with the Subaru engine has a yellow wire connected to that.

All sorted, but can anyone help with pictures of how they arranged the subaru fuse, relays, ecu and all those cables under the bed?
