Welding help please

Post by bennybobcolleydog »

Really need some welding doing around the outside of the fuel cap and same area the opposite
Side by the fresh water filling cap and seat belt housing. I am Wolverhampton based and wondered if anyone knows a high standard and reasonably priced welder to do this work and whether it is a pricey job ??

Many Thanks

Best to post pictures up.
It might not look like needing loads but the rust can spread and we can advise on what extras you may find.

Heard some good reports about this chap, although I have not yet had reason to use him myself.

Try Barnies on Cable Street off the Bilston Road. Kieth the gaffa is a mate of mine. He has done my welding and a few repairs. You can do part of the work yourself so all he has to do is weld or you can ask him to do all of it. He is not a VW specialist but he loves old cars and is always dooing a project or 2. He does MOT's servicing body work painting etc.01902 450440 :ok
If in doubt give it a clout!
