All Wheel Drive Club question(s)

Post by silverbullet »

IIRC, attendees of the last Slab Common event had to join AWDC on the day, in addition to paying for the day's fun.

Has anyone kept their membership up, was it worth it, any long-term members of AWDC here?

Have syncronauts (as a club) ever considered affiliate membership to AWDC and if so, what would be the pros and cons (if any) of this

I'm toying with meeting the local section before joining (they have a monthly curry night just up the road) as means to have a go at a spot of RTV trials etc but I'm a bit worried that the diff locks will push the syncro into a much higher modified class (rules, rules...) and be put in with ARB'd Bobtails and G-wagens, where the old thing might get a bit knocked about...

I was just about to delete this topic Simon! I guess from the 60+ views that no-one else has been involved with AWDC for a while (if ever) then?

Like I need an excuse to go out for a curry anyway
