aaz into t25 california

Post by chrisbeck »

Hi
Iam about to change my JX for an AAZ and was wondering what the best way to do it is. Can anyone tell me if it is best to just fit everything from the AAZ or to use the JX exhaust manifold/ turbo, inlet manifold, pump etc. Any help would be greatly appreceated so i can make the swap go as smoothly as possible.
Thanks Chris.

mine was a non turbo 1.6 so i put aaz in as it was, had to change the sump- obviously and found a jx air filter which is behind the rear left light cluster and routed into the turbo. Also jx exhaust system wont fit on aaz manifold so ihad to 'make one up'. As you have the jx it would probably make sense to use the manifolds off that i guess.

Hi....there is a useful AAZ fitting guide on the Brickworks website covering much of what you need to know
