Does anyone know if the lock barrel from a sliding door handle is interchangeable with front door locks?
Thanks

My drivers door lock is buggered and can be opened with anything. I have that spare sliding door lock you sent me a key to which I was hoping to swap with the door lock, but as they are different, thats a no go now

Are you sure it's the barrel? Problem arises when barrel segments don't fully retract when the key is inserted and over time deep grooves are worn in the bore inside the handle. This eventaully results in any key opening the lock.
Brand new cab door handles fixes the problem. You can then rekey the barrel in the new handle to your key using the segments from the old barrell

I can probably send you a drivers door barrel, it wont have any wafers in, take the wfers out of your sliding door barrel and replace in the same order in the drivers barrel
