Advice on fitting Quarter Light Window in door

Post by timthemod »

In order to fit a quarter light window in the door what is the procedure? Does the doorcard have to be removed and also is there any screws/bolts holding the window in place?

Thanks

Yes, you will need to strip the door furniture off to get to the screws

are we talking replacing the 1/4 window as in the glass on an opener or the glass in a fixed. if latter then as ^^^ says
inner and outer scrapers off, i whip the main glass out as it only takes a min ute and then undo 10mm spanner size bolt/screw at side/btm of 1/4 lihht bar then the small posi at the top (under the door seal rubber) then remove metal upright bar, then glass and seal,
mm
should be in the wiki?? have a look
