Our record for an engine drop (Aircooled) is five minutes. Engine and box, with full workshop facilities, 2 hours max, assuming everything is rusted solid.

There is a very fine line between solicitors fees and robbery. Same goes for vets.

sorry for off topic drift ,, VETS !!! listen my 2 latest mogies needed the works so called up my local vets (started with them 10yrs back , 2 lady vets tiny office type place = very reasonable, ffwd 3 yrs ago , million £+ new building , 2 acres land big house etc etc , loads of trainee vets, each moggy for basic jabs and chipping £75, add the lukemia jab and its £115 ffs each
took them to my vets in leeds and the whole lot inc lukemia £42 i think it was per moggy so £230 v £82

They will be cleaning up on pet insurance contracts then, the 1k+ work that can now be done where previously people couldnt afford it. Of couse, now anyone with a pet insurance policy is paying a share of these thousands... or to look at it another way, buying the vet a multi million pound pad.

oh, and to get back on topic... i reckon it took me about 8 hours to get the all the carat bodykit off mine (including drilling out all the rivets)... mostly due to being a complete amateur at dealing with rusty fixings, figuring out where all the fixings were, and taking time and care not to wreck anything. I think if I put it all back on I could have it off again in an hour or so now.

off topic i know. my daughter is a state registered vetinary nurse and the vets rip the nurses off more than the punters. we use wern vets north wales - google it if you are in range? its a big practice so they buy big and can afford to be cheaper on vacs, jabs etc

wasnt much use at removing side planks ? sorry
