True but is the propex box built/designed with that in mind.
The paint finish doesn't look very robust.
It's not exactly a friendly environment under there.
Mount it under there by all means but then protect it with an outer box or shield.

oooooooo heck , thats what i said, i intend to fabricate a box in 1.4mm steel and mount the propex inside it and it will be sealed etc as is the van interior, the burner in and out will exit as normal and the fresh air in and out will be via enclosed protective trunking to the interior, whole item made to remove if needed, so as good as putting it under your bed, well not yours !! but mine.
will free up a bit of space and it will be a bit quieter...

Ours is under the rock and roll bed but instead of being on the flat floor it is mounted to the angled side of the engine bay. This way I can still pack in a few camping chairs and other stuff.

I got one off a burger can, it was ex-post office and had a cut out after about 25 mins- they don't like posited getting too cosy!
