Would it be ok to use fully synthetic in an aaz engine?
It's bringing up both semi and full synthetic oil on euro parts website.
Thing is they have A deal on buy 2 get 2 free and the fully synthetic is only £21.00
Any ideas?

If it helps VW recommended the semi-synthetic 10w40 for the AFN 1.9TDi Rob.

Cheers Ian the buy 2 get 2 free was an our of date offer. 
In my aaz manual it says meeting VW spec 505 00, viscosity between 5w-30 and 20w-50.
But you can get both semi and fully synthetic with these values.
