Folks,
Lloydy suggested you guys might have some good suggestions as to what Mercs to rob of a set of 15" steel rims... I've had a good rummage around t'web, and whilst there's a good range with right PCD & offset, almost all are M12 bolts not M14.
Any suggestions? I'll just add that I want something that's truly scrounge-and-bolt-on. No fannying about. Oh, yes - and our van's two driven wheels short, if that makes a difference.
Ta everso.

Aha! Cheers.
7" is a bit wider than I was thinking - it doesn't give any problem with the slider or spare tray?

Now I'm really baffled. A quick google suggests that W126 does indeed use M12 bolts - yet the rims are happy with the M14s on our vans? That may well mean any M12 Merc rim would fit... Maybe I need to just swing by a scrappy with a stack of Mercs in.

I have them fitted on one of my Syncros with no issues. Try C Class from 1994 to 2000

You're right (AFAIK) most merc steels will fit, but there are differences in the ET's (you want around 30/25) and actual wheel design, some have alot less steel & bigger holes which, I guess, would bring there ratings/strength down.

Mercedes, bless them, put all the details of the wheels onto the centre piece of the wheel. They even put the part number on as well. The first 3 digits - ollowing a letter - is the model number

After having a google the other night, I'm really not worried about load ratings - even a 190 has a GVW of 2250kg or so - compared to 2450 for our Westy. Sure, the ULW is going to be lower, but Merc don't spec things like that for ULW...
