Yes that's exactly what I bought... But with the flexy because there's no enough room for the sender (new one) between the pushrods hence the remote aspect being move it all to somewhere there's more room.... All made perfect sence till I thought about the temp drop in the pipe!!

Will the factory pressure sender fit on the end of the flexi? That would leave you a tapping to fit the temp sender.
Sorry I don't know much about the petrol engines to know what goes where

Thanks for your time and patients... It all fits beautifully, I just had a light bulb moment where it dawned on me that the oil within the braided hose just must be cooler than that of the engine ... Or wouldn't it .. That was my thought of the day !!! I have just copied the instructions of somebody that has done exactly this... Am I right or wrong????

With a metre long hose, I reckon the oil will be cold. Is it Neils that you have copied?

So is it working now ?

If so what did you end up doing ?

Oil just sat in a pipe, not flowing anywhere, no matter how short the pipe, is not going to give a temperature reading that makes any sense at all.

the consensus is that there is no point in having a temp sensor in a dead end pipe coming out of where the old pressure sendors are.

Pressure sender yes
Temp sender no

also that there is no point in having a sump plug temp sendor due to colder oil, infact in having any kind of sender in the sump plug at all, due to horror stories of de-threading or breaking etc and losing the oil.

Thanks to Mr AXEMAN for explaining all to me. What I was thinking was oil temp was only pressure which make so much more sence, as I suspected and others rightly pointed out you can't have oil temp unless the sender is in the engine!! You need to remove the pressure sender between the engine pulleys and replace that with a temp sender.... Schimples!!!
