sliding door (lock)

is there any way to lock the sliding door from the inside of the van.

i currently lock from the outside and get in though the passanger door but looking to fit a cabin bed for the little one and need to lock the side door but also get out ect

You should have a little button just underneath the inner handle, this operates the lock

You might have an earlier sliding door so perhaps VW didn't fit one to it? I could well be wrong on that though so hopefully soomebody will be able to advise you better or send an image.

easier for you to post a pick of the inside of your lock and i will tell you what bit you need, usual problem
