When he slid sideways, he was a passenger really. The idea is to point straight up or down, you go sideways and that can happen.

I think " woe..."feck" ell! " sums that up quite well really....always titter worthy watching rednecks roll land rovers down hills, but kinda dangerous too.

Is that a leg poking out the roof light?

That could explain all the wailing at the end then....I had a Landy...never rolled it but did manage to float it down a river at a 45degree angle....it survived it my mate still hasn't forgiven me! He got a bit damp that evening!

They look so top heavy with the big balloon tyres, surprising they dont topple over more often

Not funny, safety of spectators compromised, safety of driver compromised.

It was his leg.

Driver of said Landy:
"I was unhurt I drove it onto a trailer then drove home the land rover was built to it former glory a couple of months later and yes it was my leg that came out of the roof window and if I would have had a seatbelt on I think I wouldn't have been here now !!!"

Should have had diff locks on front and rear. You can see as soon as the front wheels get airbourne the rear lose drive and it starts stalling, as soon as the front wheels hit ground the drive goes back on all four but by that time it was too late. IMHO

I recon if youre driving up steep things fast you need a full cage and harness
Good thing he had the sence to kick his lad out before trying it.
Recon he may be right about the belt issue, given he had no cage.
That was well worth a look and could help prevent me trying somthing
Similar.
