i have a cracked headlight lense which is a mot failure so im trying to buy a replacement which seems to be impossible no dealer has them only the round type so i need help are they still available from any where there was 2 sets at bus fest with one cracked lense in each pair at £100 does it seem like my bus will be off the road for just a headlight ive put a wanted on the forum but no succsess

Good R/H/D sets fetch around £250, L/H/D's £170 so £100 isn't that bad for 3 out of 4 to be good and useable.

VW just don't make the outters anymore so you just have to bite the bullit.

Does anyone do headlight protectors for square light grilles?
If not why not I wonder...at these prices you could make a killing.
I'd buy a set for starters.

its just so annoying some times when you cant get hold a simple item for your bus, ok cheers for advise ill keep saving my pennies and keep looking for good secondhand pair

a cracked lense is NOT a reason for an mot failure in itself.

As Billy says....if the lens is secure and the crack isn't effecting the beam and pattern then it should be just an advisory.

nope

inner one can fit but there are 2 types of mountings , 1 yes , 1 no but the outer is a different size
