Connected butane to gas stove

Post by DevonMark »

...I thought this would be easy, but on my first attempt at screwing the regulator on the the canister some butane began spraying out! Should I have ploughed on and continued tightening it?

What did I do wrong?!

I took the regulator off completely to stop any more spraying out as it didn't seem right :S

It's a Nova Comet 28mbar regulator and a 907 butane canister - hope picture helps.

I thought I was doing it correctly, so a bit of a shock when some gas sprayed out!

The gas is hooked up to a two hob cooker (with grill) and the fridge.

Any advice/help appreciated!

I think you're right (I've consulted my
dad and he thinks the same!).

Will have another attempt at half time 3.45 - will carry on listening to Exeter City beating Oxford until then :)
